The GPA Announces Global Service Desk for Unified Communications and AV at ISE
Enterprises now have a single source solution for global support for room, desktop and mobile UC applications.
Amsterdam, Netherlands — Over 60 executives from 24 Global Presence Alliance (GPA) members around the World have traveled to Amsterdam to attend Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) and enjoy a packed schedule of member, partner and customer meetings in preparation for a busy year of unified communications and audiovisual global deployments.
Plans will be unveiled for the launch of the GPA’s 24×7 multilingual global service desk, providing first line and expert support services for enterprises with both traditional audiovisual and room based video conferencing together with desktop and mobile UC applications from Cisco and Microsoft.
The GPA has teamed with Samsung during the ISE exhibition to host a VIP customer roundtable facilitated by leading industry analyst Ira Weinstein of Wainhouse Research. One major discussion topic will be the emergent opportunity to design, deliver and support the technology for over 50 million huddle spaces enabling faster and better team collaboration for the agile enterprise.
In addition, the GPA debuts its new website (www.global-presence.org) featuring the organization’s “star alliance” video and new interactive map showing presence in all the major business hubs around the World.
Also welcomed to the GPA for the first time is Dutch integrator AVEX, recently recruited to represent the Benelux region.
