GPA Global Summit Event 2019

GPA Global Summit 2019 – Cape Town, South Africa

It’s that time of the year again. The Global Presence Alliance (GPA) is hosting its global teams to their annual summit event, from the 28th to the 30th of October 2019, in lovely Cape Town, South Africa. Along with the GPA team, we will have some of our significant global clients and elite global partners attend our Future of Workspace Summit.

All the participants who attend will also join the agenda and exchange thoughts with their GPA peers. Some partners frequently work together on global AV integration projects or as part of established task force groups to support our shared clients, but others are not seeing each other that often, so everybody enjoys both the formal and informal catch-ups in this ever-growing organization.

Much to learn, much to tell

All the representatives coming to Cape Town will then condense their newly acquired knowledge and share it with their own company’s staff as soon as they get home after the summit. Often it is because of this momentum that disruptive projects are launched to solve shared challenges together as an international team. It also frequently happens that new technologies are introduced to the broader audience during the GPA summit, which helps not only the member companies but usually also improve the overall service quality for your clients.

To mention only a few items of the program, we will be able to hear updates around the Velocity project, hear more about the future of work, and how it can be augmented by av and collaboration technology, and hold various break-out-sessions and workshops. All in all, there should be plenty to hear, learn, and share for everyone.

Learning from within is good, but we also have great guests

No summit is complete without guest speakers and presentations on disruptive ideas and novel approaches in doing business. One of the speakers that we will welcome at the GPA summit this year is Richard Mulholland, who’s not only great at giving presentations but even coaches CEOs and TED speakers on how to perform in an engaging and memorable way.

Next up is Valter Adão, who is Deloitte’s Chief Digital and Innovation Officer for Africa, who will focus on hyper coordination and the future of work. We will also welcome Mike Bedford who is Technical Director at Hoare Lea, to tell us more about their vision of how buildings should not be technology-driven but much rather provide user-centric experiences and some ideas on how AV can help to achieve such experiences for our clients.

Last but not least is Kay Sargent, who is HOK’s global director for WorkPlace practice and we will hear more about her experiences from past initiatives, the lessons learned, and everything that is planned for the future in the sphere of the modern workplace. We are looking forward to get inspired by all these great speakers!

We are excited to see what is going to happen at the GPA Global Summit 2019 and hope to meet many new and old faces alike. Also, thanks a lot to our host team from Omega in South Africa as well as the event sponsors.
